Your tasks

  • Lead and develop the team of Area Managers, including recruitment, target setting, performance monitoring, and capability building.
  • Act as key partner to the Head of Retail HU, contributing operational insights and supporting strategic and EBIT driven decisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with operational standards, laws, contracts, and HSSE requirements, including coordination of maintenance and reconstruction.
  • Oversee and coordinate training for Area Managers, filling station partners and staff.
  • Drive operational excellence across the retail network through effective field management and consistent execution standards.
  • Drive the site level planning and budgeting process, ensuring quality, challenge, and alignment with country priorities.
  • Ensure efficient dealer management: recruitment framework, performance evaluation, support measures, and decision proposals.
  • Monitor site performance data, initiate improvement actions, and escalate broader issues requiring country level decisions.
  • Maximize network performance by improving profitability, cost structures, cross selling, asset utilization, and partner selection.
  • Lead structured competitive analysis, channel market intelligence.
  • Foster cross functional collaboration, ensure information flow, support projects, and perform additional tasks aligned with business goals.

Your profile

  • Master University degree in Business, Economics or Management.
  • 9 years relevant professional experience, preferred in retail or oil industry.
  • Strong sales background with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets in a retail environment.
  • Ability to interpret sales data, extract insights, and apply data driven actions to improve performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams and partners.
  • High social competence (empathy, flexibility, presentation skills) and experience in retail or the oil industry.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English - both written and spoken. (German advantage).
