Your Profile
- University degree & Experience: 3+ years’ experience after Master’s degree OR 3+ years’ experience after Bachelor & International Exposure
- Relevant Professional Skills;

- Extensive experience in SAP
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and statutory reporting
- Experience in financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Sound understanding of Local GAAP, IFRS, and reconciliation between statutory and group reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge VAT, withholding tax Tunisian Corporate Income Tax and regulations
- Strong experience in Joint Venture Accounting, Cash Calls, Joint Interest Billings and JOA compliance
- Other Skills

Tasks & Key responsabilities
Accounting, Reconciliations & Reporting
- Responsible for the reconciliation of statutory accounting records, tax ledgers, and IFRS reporting packages.
- Ensures timely resolution of all balance sheet reconciliation items and accounting discrepancies.
- Leads the reconciliation process between Tunisian statutory accounts, tax records, and IFRS financial statements.
- Ensures financial statements comply with Tunisian GAAP, IFRS, OMV Accounting Policies, and applicable legal requirements.
- Business Responsible for reviewing all balance sheet account reconciliations and adjustments (local tax ledger) if required
- Reviews all financial statements according to Tunisian GAAP and the company accounting procedure and policy
JV Accounting:
- Responsible for the review, approval, and issuance of Joint Interest Billings and Cash Calls in full compliance with applicable Joint Operating Agreements.
- Ensures the correctness of cost allocations, partner billings, and recoverable expenditures under JOA provisions.
- Acts as primary contact for partners regarding billing disputes, cost recovery matters, audit queries, and cash call reconciliations.
- Business Responsible to ensure timely preparation, review and approval of Joint interest billings in alignment with FSC (HO) and JOA
- Business Responsible to provide input data to establish Past Exploration Invoices
- Business Responsible to answer all partners inquiries related to Joint interest billings in an efficient and timely manner in alignment with Controlling and FSC
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Supporting the Senior Expert Tax with regards to accuracy and timely submission of all tax declarations in accordance with Tunisian tax legislation, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT and withholding taxes.
- Gains expert knowledge of Tunisian tax laws and regulatory developments and supports in assessing their impact on OMV Tunisia.
- Supports tax audits, assessments, appeals, and correspondence with Tunisian Tax Authorities, external advisors and lawyers.
- Ensures compliance with tax provisions of concession agreements, and JOAs, and other petroleum sector regulations.
External Stakeholder Management
- Serves as the primary accounting representative towards ETAP, STEG, banks, external auditors, and governmental institutions.
- Builds and maintains constructive relationships with external stakeholders to support business continuity and efficient resolution of accounting, billing, and payment matters.
- Coordinates financial information requests from regulators, partners, and external authorities.
General:
- Key user for SAP FI
- Responsible for data cleansing, especially for old migrated data
- Responsible for the coordination and response to all external audit requests
- Prepare specific financial reports and statistics upon request from OMV TN Management or HO
- Ad hoc requests required by the business unit in accordance with the position and assigned by the Finance Manager, General Manager and/or HO
