Your Tasks
- Responsible to perform the preventive & corrective maintenance work on control & instrumentation equipment in the whole plant are implemented and HSSE and Maintenance targets are achieved in line with the company standards.
- Receives work orders and instructions to follow-up, react and execute on a day-to-day basis all technical matters arising on CPF gas processing facilities (plus wellheads and flowlines) and to monitor all field activities with special focus on C&I equipment maintenance.
- Performs instrument installation, calibration, testing, minor repairs, and routine & non-routine maintenance of instrumentation equipment including:
- Automation Control system such as PLC system, process safety shutdown. system.
- Measurement devices such as Level, DP, Pressure, Temperature Transmitters, Tank Gauging. Etc.
- Final Control elements such as LCV, PCV, Actuator, Level/Pressure/Temperature Controller...etc.
- Control Panel such Pneumatic Control Panel - Deluge system, Fire & Gas Detection system. - Utility equipment such as Air Instrument system, Air Dryer, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Pump, Tubing installation.
- Assists C&I Senior Technician to ensure that all work orders and check lists are completed with actual man-hours taken, material and tools used, spares consumed, date of job completed and analysis codes.
- Ensures that plant and equipment are maintained according to HSSE compliance and OMV integrity standards to meet expected Reliability and ‘uptime’ Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensures that procedures for the safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to (including Task Instructions, Permits-to Work, Task Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks).
Your Profile
Education & Experience: Min 2-3 years’ experience after Apprenticeship,
Preferred Subject of Education: Industrial Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment Specialist
Relevant Professional Skills:
- Knowledge and practices on ICSS and CMMS systems
- Knowledge of oil & gas field instrumentation, SCADA, DCS (CCR), ESD, F&G, packages' control.
- Experience of working with various types of instruments including: pressure, temperature, flow, level.
- Experience of working with various ICSS systems.
- Knowledge in understanding P&D drawings, loop sheets and technical procedures relevant to C&I.
- Knowledge of Operations and HSSE

- Self-Motivated and committed to continuous personal, professional, and academic development.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills & the ability to demonstrate listening and counselling skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Conversant with windows-based PC, MS Office tools, MS Project and SAP.
