Your tasks

 

  • Execute technical evaluation and development on pretreatment, sorting, and purification equipment for processing relevant waste streams into feedstock for chemical recycling.
  • Optimize the chemical recycling value chain by improving pretreatment processes, feedstock preparation, pyrolysis and refinery integration considering cost, yield and overall value.
  • Identify partners for technical development and manage cross-functional projects related to feedstock pretreatment.
  • Conduct experimental verification in areas such as pretreatment and logistics within the value chain.
  • Contribute to and execute test runs at external and internal sites, actively observing feedstock test runs at chemical recycling (CR) plants, especially ReOil plants in operation.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of collected data and findings, including contributions to capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects involving pretreatment and CR plants.
  • Coordinate technical development activities related to feedstock supply and preparation for CR, aligning closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of solutions and projects for chemical recycling (CR) plants, considering economic viability, available technologies, locations and logistical framework conditions. 
  • Evaluate and characterize potential feedstock streams, including the implementation of quality control/quality assurance concepts.
  • Work on depolymerization projects related to feedstock for the pyrolysis process, covering aspects like intake, storage systems, specifications, ISCC+ compliance, material balance, and pyrolysis behavior.

Your profile

 

  • University Masters Degree/Diploma in the field of Mechanical engineering, waste management, Chemical engineering, environmental technology, process engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience in the Field of Feedstock.
  • Excellent knowledge in process engineering/technology.
  • Experience in waste management and related industries.
