Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.
Your tasks
- Develop, operate & maintain oil movement systems (e.g. ATOS), real time reporting systems (e.g. IP21), yield accounting (e.g. RAFDB) and KPI & management reporting systems (e.g. Power BI).
- Ensure implementation of infrastructure requirements for Advanced Process Control and Realtime Optimization systems regarding instrumentation, automation, basic control and online analytics in cooperation with the respective departments.
- Initiate and execute studies/projects to optimize OT/IT systems and production related workflows in the refineries.
- Ensure availability & high quality of refinery process related data as a solid basis for legal requirements, technical evaluations and economic decisions.
- Align cross-site regarding strategic planning and develop a consistent business approach.
- Identify optimization potentials and develop proposals for their realization, derive and ensure the implementation of appropriate measures.
- Advise and train managers, schedulers, process engineers and plant operators regarding use of systems and tools.
- Develop and improve IT/OT systems & system architecture to improve usability and keep Cyber Security & Compliance at the state of the art
Your profile
- Master's degree in Chemical engineering, process engineering, process control or similar.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably experience with refinery operations or other comparable large scale production facilities.
- Wide range of IT/OT skills like Windows server, Windows Office, SQL (Microsoft or Oracle), Programming skills (eg. PHP, Python, Java Script, c++, C#), system architecture, network technology, Power-Bi.
- Strong team and communication skills as well as higher ability to adapt to the needs of different user groups.
- High affinity with cyber security topics
- Fluency in German and English
