Your tasks
- You are part of the Circular Economy Innovation team and are responsible for the proper design and optimization as well as innovation and technology management of rotating equipment of the ReOil process.
- In this position, you ensure optimal operability, availability, and integrity of the necessary equipment within the ReOil process and are also responsible for establishing an adequate maintenance and spare parts philosophy.
- You design and plan the strategic orientation for ReOil rotating equipment, developing the technological decision basis for strategic questions and consulting with the line manager in various concerns.
- Supporting the roll-out concept for OMV's ReOil business and steering technical development and evaluation of ReOil processes is also a part of your position.
- With the implementation of a uniform operating philosophy and consistent processes, you are responsible for ensuring the proper asset management for ReOil rotating equipment.
- You also select fitting contractors and manage their performance.
- You are responsible for evaluating ReOil processes and address potential gaps identified during due diligence.
- Benchmarking (including creating and evaluating KPIs) is an important part of this role.
- In this position, you will also analyze the market for relevant developments in the ReOil business and identify optimization opportunities and propose adequate measures to seize them.
- You additionally ensure compliance with legal, OMV, Petrom and in-house HSSE regulations through regular review and corrective actions.
Your profile
- You have a master’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or hold a (technical) high school diploma / (HTL) Matura with corresponding practical experience.
- You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of rotating equipment, refinery and/or petrochemical processes and hold special knowledge in the areas of compressors and pumps and the circular industry.
- You are experienced in turnaround and availability improvement.
- You are willing to travel internationally.
- You have a well-developed network and relationships in related areas (e.g. research institutes, engineering companies, suppliers and manufacturer of static equipment).
- You are fluent in German and English.
