Your tasks
- Support electrical engineering activities for refinery, terminals, pipelines, and related projects in accordance with state-of-the-art engineering, applicable norms, standards, and OMV best practices.
- Assist engineering, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including end‑of‑life replacement strategies and routine maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with harmonized processes, workflows, work instructions, and engineering documentation systems within the area of responsibility.
- Support preparation of tender documents and technical specifications for routine maintenance, turnarounds, and capital investment projects.
- Contribute to mid‑ and long‑term availability, design strategies, and conceptual design for electrical systems and related equipment.
- Support project execution, including non‑standard project tasks and configuration of electrical engineering solutions.
- Cooperate locally with internal engineering partners, external engineering suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
- Assist contractor and contract management activities, including service catalogs and contractor performance monitoring.
- Support benchmarking activities and tracking/reporting of KPIs within the electrical engineering area of responsibility.
- Assist evaluation, introduction, and deployment of new technologies, digitalization initiatives, and predictive maintenance solutions for electrical distribution, protection, and auxiliary systems.
Your profile
- Master’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and/or Automation Engineering.
- First professional experience like an internship or 1 year in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial maintenance, refinery, production, or capital project environments.
- First practical exposure to American and European electrical design norms, standards, and engineering practices.
- Initial hands‑on experience in electrical engineering tasks related to maintenance, projects, or equipment lifecycle activities.
- Ability to build your network of stakeholders within the company.
- Fluent in German and English.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 66.304,--. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
