Your tasks

• After a detailed training phase, you support in initiating and developing investment projects, focusing on process engineering and business cases, while ensuring the necessary resources for the technology representative role in local projects on site.
• Continuously and sustainably support the enhancement of the technical and financial performance of the process units at the Schwechat refinery site. 
• Actively contribute to the local operational excellence initiatives and programs as well as to technology / project development related activities in projects.
• Perform and follow-up internal and external production-related tasks, if required.
• Assure cooperation between technology towards other disciplines (e. g. Inspection, Maintenance, Projects, …).
• Actively participate in technology design and evaluations. 
• Contribute to technical task forces and surveys and manage the change process in process engineering matters.
• Participate and contribute to HAZOP, SWIFT, RBI and other analysis to improve HSSE measures at the site.

Your profile

• University degree (master/diploma) in process, chemical or electrical engineering.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, along with strong process engineering abilities. 
• Demonstrate commitment to duties and effectively assesses social situations, with the ability to de-escalate emotional discussions. 
• Actively listen to others and consider their ideas.
• Seek out best practices and stay open-minded about implementing unconventional solutions. 
• Clearly define goals and objectives, making them understandable to everyone.
• Fluency in English and German, additional language skills are highly appreciated.
