Your tasks

• Designing, planning, and executing drilling, completion, and workover operations 
• Optimizing well programs through technical analysis, risk assessment, and integration of geological/reservoir data 
• Follow up on drilling operations in all partner operated assets and compile and monthly update of an integrated OMV Libya drilling schedule
• Supervising field operations and ensuring compliance with HSSE policies 
• Preparing AFEs (Authorization for Expenditure), cost estimates, and technical reports 
• Evaluating new technologies to enhance well delivery 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (geologists, production engineers, etc.)
• Providing strategic feedback to OMV of Libya;s JV Management for operational excellence 

Your profile

• Expertise in well design software and strong knowledge of drilling techniques, geological formations, and completion methods 
• Proven track record in managing complex wells 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Fluency in Arabic & English (both written and spoken) 
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build cross-cultural relationships 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

Role details

• Superior: HoD JV Management Libya  
• OMV Career World: Senior Expert / OMV Grade 18
• Location: Tripoli, Libya (with regular visits to field office and other locations internal and external). 
• Please note: This position is open to Local nationals and does not qualify for expatriate assignment.
