Your Profile
- University degree: Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, C&I, Industrial
- Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience + International Exposure AND 3+ years of leadership experience
- Relevant Professional Skills;
- Knowledge of PLC based systems, Distributes Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Power Management Systems, EX equipment maintenance, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs), SCADA, Protection/ Metering, Cabling, Instrument & Control System Design.
- Knowledge of Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) preferably SAP-PM.
- Technical expertise relevant to design, operation and maintenance of assigned systems and liaising with equipment engineers, equipment vendors, construction personnel, operations team members and maintenance personnel.
- The ability to share knowledge and skills when required and support and motivate others to achieve team goals.
- A high personal commitment to HSE performance, specifically on technical (process) safety and design integrity
- Other Skills
- Demonstrated experience of working effectively and successfully in an international, multi-cultural environment.
- Self-motivated, team player and capable of working in remote locations in a multi-cultural environment.
- Full command of English language (Written & Spoken), Local Language is a plus
- Flexibility to travel to site as and when required.
Your Tasks
- Monitor and coordinate plant maintenance activities with special focus on control and instrumentation (CI) discipline engineering
- Provide specialist support during the day-to-day operations to maximize plant availability and insure planned hydrocarbon targeted volumes are met (quantity & quality).
- Oversight of the design, specification, modification and services related to the ICSS and other control systems as required.
- Review critical design documentations produced by Manufacturer and contractors.
- Provide regular communication of C&I systems status, schedule issues, quality issues, etc, to line manager and field manager.
- Asist in implementing HSSE policies, standards and procedures to ensure that HSSE objectives and targets are met.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of C&I maintenance and engineering services for the facilities and utilities.
- Provide input on maintenance planning, schedules and maintenance intervals for C&I activities. Participation in preparation of capital and operating budgets. Investigate and redress any variances to ensure effective cost control and review performance when required.
- Monitor and support the implementation of C&I preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and planned shutdowns activities.
- Provide technical advice and assistance and make recommendations based upon field observation and maintenance needs.
- Evaluate work methods and procedures used in maintenance repair and engineering, recommends and implements improvements.
- Monitor contractor's performance and quality of services to ensure compliance with their contractual obligations and company standards. Asist in managing vendor support during maintenance & re-commissioning phase on equipment and machinery
