OMV 6-Month Internship in the Business & Strategic Development Department (all genders)

What you will get an insight in

• Gain knowledge in regards of existing refining & sales practices as well as future potentials and opportunities
• Research & create coherent analysis in regard to sustainable transformation trends
• Enhancing strategic transformation portfolio steering (global organic & inorganic projects) by further shaping the funneling from Idea (Pipeline) to Project (Portfolio)
• Manage and adapt the database and visualization tools for key strategic simulations & scenarios
• Help to maintain interfaces between and align coherent conclusions with all relevant stakeholders involved in the strategic transformation (e.g. Business Development; Project Management; Finance; Value Chain Optimization; Sales; Sustainability Mgmt. etc…)
• Support the drafting of Senior Management & Executive Board relevant decision papers and presentations in regard to the divisional strategy implementation
• Dive into key business development activities and projects with our teams and support the transparency and quality of the relevant business cases and go to market strategies.
   

What we are looking for

• You are a currently enrolled student with an economical/technical background.
• You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
• Confident handling of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point (PowerBI is a plus).
• You have great teamwork and communication skills.
• You are interested in the transformation of the energy sector.
• You are keen to jump between high level strategic market trends and detailed operational processes to derive correct conclusions for the transformation of the business.
