Your tasks

  • Leading complex strategic projects within the department and cross departments and businesses as part of the strategy implementation of OMV group.
  • Drive the recurring strategy review efforts from initiation to SB approval in close cooperation with the business segments.
  • Define, develop, and regularly manage the Group Strategic Portfolio to ensure OMV meets its strategic targets.
  • Build and constantly update the opportunity pipeline for the Group, with targets above EUR 50 mn, for JV, M&A and divestment options and provide recommendations to the management.
  • Coordinate PADEC for Energy, supporting the PADEC Chair in scheduling meetings and preparing recommendations.
  • Support Group Strategy and business segments in mapping out the strategic objectives.
  • Develop presentations and reports as appropriate for various stakeholders, including for EB and SB.
  • Develop strategic analysis as requested by SVP strategy, CEO and CFO.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in business management, finance, engineering or similiar. 
  • At least 15 years of professional experience, especially in management consulting or relevant industry experience, ideally in an international setting.
  • Experience in project management, strategy development, portfolio management and financial analysis.
  • Profound understanding of the process of setting-up a JV and/or the M&A process.
  • Strong team-player as well as entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and visualization skills.
  • Fluency in English.
