Your tasks

 

  • Create, protect, and sustain OMV’s organizational value by providing independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, insight, and foresight and act as a catalyst of change to support the transformation of OMV.
  • Perform internal audits in compliance with the Global Internal Audit Standards. Internal audits for this position may encompass financial, operational & system and compliance audits across OMV group.
  • Prepare premium-quality audit reports with concise conclusions, expressing professional opinions on the adequacy, compliance and effectiveness of governance processes, risk management, control systems and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.
  • Perform audit fieldwork in an international environment (willingness for business travel).
  • Apply risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered during the audit.
  • Identify audit findings which are considered opportunities for improvement as part of a healthy learning culture.
  • Follow up on the findings and agreed measures, and report periodically any actions not effectively implemented.

 

Your profile

 

  • University degree Master/Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or another related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) certification will be an asset, but no precondition.
  • Minimum 9 years of professional experience, proven track record in operational business.
  • Strong knowledge on integrated business models as well as strong cross divisional strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and team playing qualities and excellent report writing skills.
  • Very good English and German language skills.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 90.880,-- all-in. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
