Your tasks

 

Principle security lead for the provision of operational and field site security advice and intervention to the CEO/ EVPs, SVPs and Asset Managers regarding ALL domestic OMV (Austrian & German) Upstream and Downstream assets, Critical National Infrastructure and Government, Police, DSN and LSE liaison.

 

  • Responsible for the drafting, implementation, and monitoring of OMV Group travel security policy and procedures, including all tools and software applications that guarantee personnel across the OMV Group have 24/7/365 global travel security management, tracking and information.
  • Manage OMV Global 3rd party travel security contractors, travel services, KPI’s and contracts.  Manage Travel Security training across the entire OMV Group.
  • Responsible directly to the relevant OMV Executives as the primary focal point for security oversight, advice and intervention for all domestic OMV Energy, F&F, and Retail infrastructure.
  • Provide specialist security advice, support, and intervention to Senior Managers in OMV Austria, Germany, encompassing physical security policy, plans, risk assessments and procedures (physical / technical / convergence).  Also includes advice on loss prevention, crime prevention and general security awareness training.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of specialist operational security policy, plans, procedures, and advice to OMV Head Office Facilities Management leadership and risk owner.  Be prepared advise on security matters.
  • Provide Executive Protection (EP) operational capability, advice, and support to OMV Executive Board members and ‘at risk’ SVPs. Oversee domestic / overseas events and travel.  Be prepared to intervene and manage (or lead if required) during EP emergency response incidents.
  • Establish and maintain specialist and discreet security liaison relationships with the Austrian Government, police, and intelligence agencies.

Your profile

 

  • Minimum 9 years’ service within the Military, Police or Intelligence agency.  Must have Executive Protection operational deployment and planning experience in an international environment or worked at national level initiatives supporting strategic interests.  Experience of working in or directly supporting diplomatic / state executive protection operations is highly preferable.
  • Experience and understanding of security threat mapping and risk assessment to inform and guide journey management / close protection into high-risk environments.
  • A thorough technical understanding / knowledge of travel management systems, travel tracking and the Global Distribution System would be an advantage.
  • Experience of delivering security risk management – risk assessments, operational security plans, security audits and reviews globally and within an international company or government (CNI).
  • A proven effective and wide-ranging security network with and ability to effectively interact with government agencies and public bodies alike. Experienced and effective when working within a multicultural business environment
  • International work /military /Police experience in complex security environment is strongly desirable. Able to work under pressure and manage short, reactive timelines.  
  • Fluency in German a prerequisite and competent in English (oral and written). Possess a clear, confident, and concise delivery style and proven experience of briefing a senior and challenging audiences succinctly.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 96.614,-- all-in. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
