Your tasks

• Lead the design and execution of an integrated communications strategy, working across diverse teams and channels to amplify OMV’s transformational and legacy businesses.
• Develop and own content strategy for OMV’s business segments, ensuring every message reflects OMV’s long-term ambitions and strategic direction.
• Build and maintain a robust content framework for key themes, collaborating with experts and stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-impact communications.
• Craft compelling, organization-wide narratives—transform insights into engaging stories that inspire stakeholders and shape public perception.
• Be a central force in the editorial team, guiding the creation and delivery of multi-channel content that resonates with the target audiences.
• Drive strategic communication campaigns—partner with channel teams to launch initiatives that elevate OMV’s reputation and support transformative projects.
• Champion cross-functional messaging alignment, ensuring clarity and consistency across executive communications, employee engagement, media relations, and digital platforms.
• Identify and activate thought leadership opportunities, positioning OMV as a trailblazer in its transformation and legacy businesses and reinforcing its leadership in the sector.
• Stay ahead of industry and societal trends, integrating emerging topics into communications to keep OMV at the cutting edge of thought leadership. 

Your profile

• University degree/Master diploma in communications or relevant field and relevant professional experience > 9 years. 
  International expertise in strategic communications with deep knowledge of integrated campaigns and newsroom-style corporate communication.
• Strong collaborative mindset with experience in complex matrix and virtual organizations, adept at working across hierarchies.
• Industry background in oil and gas is preferred and proven ability to provide strategic counsel to senior executives (SVPs).
• Excellent editorial and language skills (English and German), combined with thought leadership approaches and leadership presence.
• Resilient project manager with the ability to perform under pressure, ambiguity, and deliver results effectively.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 90.880,-- all-in. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
