Your tasks
Work at the crossroads of energy markets, trading, analytics, and technology — turning data into business insights while helping build the platforms, tools, and models behind them.
Market Analytics & Business Insights
- Deliver and present market intelligence, reports, and analytical insights in close collaboration with Trading to support informed business decisions.
- Monitor gas and commodity markets and analyze the key drivers behind market developments and prices.
- Prepare and communicate daily and weekly market updates to support business decisions.
- Take ownership of operational and strategic analytics topics, growing from team collaboration to independent responsibility.
Data & Analytics Engineering
- Contribute to building a scalable data and analytics landscape that supports digitalization, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Maintain and optimize the SQL database and data assets to ensure reliable, high-quality data.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and Python-based analytics solutions.
- Help migrate data structures and analytics workflows to a modern enterprise data platform.
- Design and improve data models that provide the foundation for analytics, reporting, automation, and AI.
Governance & Collaboration
- Apply governance standards, controls, and best practices in line with the company management system.
- Collaborate with analysts, traders, and IT teams to translate business needs into effective analytical and technical solutions.
Your profile
- Master’s Degree in IT, ideally Data Science, Meteorology or another quantitative field.
- First professional experience gained through an internship or working student position or up to 1 year of relevant work experience in analytics or data science.
- Advanced understanding of statistical and mathematical models and concepts, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python and proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
- Knowledge of data mining, research methodologies and data analysis, combined with a curiosity about gas markets and trading.
- Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work independently on technically demanding problems while confidently expressing opinions.
- Proficiency in English.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 66.304,--. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
