Position Purpose

Lead short-term gas trading activities and manage OMV LPG business.

Responsibilities

Short term gas sales/purchases and management
1.    Manage the Spot Market sales/purchase roster – execute sport market deals (incl. after hours roster) (shared scope with another role).
2.    Manage gas sales contracts on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, variations to contract, customer requests, invoice checking/take-or-pay monitoring, input to wider market and business analysis, capacity/commodity analysis.

Logistics
3.    Liaise on daily, on-going basis with internal/external stakeholders to ensure logistics/transportation planning, forecasting, continuity for gas and LPG.
4.    Report on progress against business plan targets (daily, weekly, monthly), including production and sales forecasting, monitoring and reporting.

Strategy
5.    Develop annual LPG marketing/purchases/shipping strategies.
6.    Negotiate and manage term and spot LPG contracts and other arrangements (e.g. swaps, storage) with customers to manage the overall LPG business and manage shipping/storage optimization (from a commercial perspective), invoicing, ad-hoc customer requests & variations to contract, and value optimization opportunities.
7.    Negotiate and manage arrangements with an external infrastructure owner.

Production Services
8.    Coordinate Maui LPG operations to ensure production, storage and injection requirements align with customer targets and product specifications. 
9.    Coordinate LPG operations with commercial & operational teams, Liquigas, Transport companies and other third parties involved with marketing or exporting LPG (shipping, road, and injection). 
10.    Problem solve LPG truck scheduling and production issues directly with Trucking companies and site operations ensuring staff are available to support loadout/in activities.
11.    Responsible for all other LPG related production services tasks including ownership of the LPG slate, provision of required information to finance, reconciliation of LPG quantities and stocks, and subject matter expert for all LPG scheduling activities.

University Degree Master/Diploma
>9 years
